Mitchell Guy Johnson is an Australian cricketer. Mitchell Johnson is a left-arm fast bowler and a left-handed batsman. He debuted in One Day International cricket in 2005 against New Zealand and later in 2006 debuted in Test Cricket. He has subsequently played for the Australian Under-19 side in 1999. He remains a once in a generation bowler more than a decade. No other bowler has been able to copy his successful left-arm method that mixes bouts of waywardness with spot-on strike-power.
Mitchell Johnson is an athlete who started his career in tennis but later on he pursued and focused it on cricket. He is the fourth Australian left-arm paceman to pass 100 Test Wickets. He was awarded as ICC Cricketer of the Year in 2009, also with Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy and McGilvray Medal in 2008.
