Separamadu Lasith Malinga: Sri Lankan Cricketer

Separamadu Lasith Malinga is cricketer of Sri Lanka Cricket Team. Lasith Malinga is a fast bowler with a rare round-arm action, referred as sling action. He is well known for his swinging Yorkers delivery of bowling for which he got the nickname Slinga Malinga. He debuted in Test Cricket against Australia in 2004 and later on in same year debuted in One Day International Cricket against United Arab Emirates.

Lasith Malinga is well known for his bowling and taking consecutive wickets. He holds many world records in bowling. He is the first and only bowler in the world to have taken three hat-tricks in ODI, the first and only bowler to have taken four wickets in four consecutive balls and also the first and only bowler in the world to have two World Cup hat-tricks. He also plays in Indian Premier League. He had his education from Devapathiraja College, Rathgama and then from Viyaloka College, Galle and later from Mahinda College, Galle.
