Dora the Explorer – An Interactive Adventure Cartoon Series

Dora the Explorer is an American cartoon adventure series developed by Valerie Walsh, Chris Gifford and Eric Weiner. This amazing cartoon discovery show became regular anime series in 2000. It is telecast on Nickelodeon television network throughout the world together with Nick Jr.

This show showcases Dora an 8-year old cute girl who explores new places and adventures along with her friends. Boots a 5-year old talking monkey is the best friend of Dora who helps her all the way through journey. Dora is a girl full of positive thoughts but often fails to hold a grudge against the mischievous & troublesome fox named “Swiper” who always put attempts to steal Dora’s stuffs. But at time when Dora and Boots witnesses the glimpse of Swiper the fox, she say “Swiper no Swiping” and Swiper realizes that he has been observed by them and run away.

The reason for which this show has achieved the ground-breaking success is that Dora and Boots invites their viewer to take part in Dora’s expedition and help her to complete her journey successfully. However this show offers fun to their young viewers along with some basic knowledge of words & phrases including music, math skill and physical co-ordination. Hence “Dora the Explorer” is considered to be highly interactive cartoon series as Dora encourages her preschooler’s viewers who respond Dora’s question actively and take part in her adventure through physical movement.
