My Gym Partner’s a Monkey – An Unusual Friendship between Human and a Spider-monkey

My Gym Partner’s a Monkey is a well-renowned American cartoon series developed by Timothy & Julie McNally Cahill and well produced by Cartoon Network Studios for Cartoon Network TV channel. This hilarious cartoon series was firstly telecast on 26^th December, 2005 and completed in 27^th November, 2008. In India same show is running on with the name Samsher Sikander Chuddie Buddie.

This cartoon series focuses a human schoolboy Adam Lyon who was forced to transfer his school from Chester Arthur Middle School to Charles Darwin Middle School. This incident take place due to accounting mistake that was listed in his surname “Lyon” as “Lion”. However, Charles Darwin Middle School is special school for anthropomorphic animals that live in local Zoo. Soon Adam partnered with a spider-monkey named Jake who meets him in gym which represents the title of the show.

Charles Darwin Middle School is developed with special design and shape that includes fish tubes for fishes so they can breathe and swim around the entire school along with some vines and other water bodies. Moreover there are also some special animals that uses devices so they can even live outside their natural habitat such as Bull Sharkowski whose headphone like device filled with water that go around his gills for breathing purpose.

Likewise, during the entire series Jake the spider-monkey helps Adam to live a simple life in the school and adjust him to live in school surrounding and in animal nature. Moreover, Jake appears to be much funny character of this series performing hilarious acts and set up comical situation in Charles Darwin Middle School. My Gym Partner’s a Monkey revolves around the matchless and curious friendship between a young boy name Adam Lyon (as Samsher in Indian version) and a foolish & extremely crazy spider-monkey called Jake (as Sikander in Indian version).
