Urvashi Dholakia better known as Komonika Basu is one of the highly admired actresses of Indian television industry. She earned lots of recognition, popularity and stardom by her act in India’s highly appreciated daily soap named “Kasautii Zindagii Kay”.
As far as acting career of Urvashi Dholakia is concerned she started acting at very young age of six. Her first acting experience was with famous actress Revathi in TV commercial for LUX soap. She made debut in TV serial named Waqt Ki Raftar aired on SAB TV as a child actor by which she made herself to be superlative choice as child actor in several movies and TV drama series. Though she was known as well-renowned celebrity at age of 14 by her act in comical TV series “Dekh Bhai Dekh” where she appeared as actor Vishal Singh’s teenage love interest.
Though she has acted in many TV serials like Mehndi Tere Naam Ki, Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli, Ghar Ek Mandir, etc but the act that brings her unbelievable breakthrough is in famous Indian daily soap named ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay”. In this TV series she appeared as one of the highly known vamps of Indian television but soon series ended in 2008 and she again appeared as dark character in Balaji’s daily soap “Bayttaab Dil Kee Tamanna Hai”. However she has also acted in several Bhojpuri films. Not only this but she also appeared as contestant and star appearance in India’s most famous show Sach Ka Saamna and Meethi Chhoorii No.1 respectively.
