Surekha Sikri Rege or simply Surekha Sikri is one of the highly appreciated Indian television, film and theatre actresses. She has also won National Film for Best Supporting Actress twice first in 1988 for her role in “Tamas” and second time again for her role in 1995’s movie “Mammo”. In fact in 1968 she was graduated from National School of Drama and worked in NSD Repertory Company for more than 10-years long time interval.
However, Surekha Sikri is currently acting as Dadisa a negative role in Balika Vadhu TV serial aired on COLORS TV. Nevertheless her acting career was not up to silver screen but she has also acted as supporting character in many super hit Bollywood movies such as Sarfarosh, Zubeidaa, Humko Dewwana Kar Gaye etc. Things doesn’t get over yet as she also own a long list of awards which she has actually entitled to her name that includes Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, Best Actress in Negative role for her act in Balika Vadhu serial, etc.
