Samir Soni is a well-known Indian film and TV actor and a popular ex-model in modeling industry. He was born in London to a Punjabi-Hindu family and studied at St Xavier’s School, Delhi and completed his graduation in Economics from University of California located at Los Angeles. Soon he becomes an investment banker in one of the highly renowned firms on Wall Street in New York. But before getting back to modeling in India he attended acting courses in New York & Los Angeles.
However Samir Soni made his acting debut in Indian TV serial “Samandar” and in Bollywood movie named China Gate in 1998. Soon his flattering performance was appreciated by film producer & director and picked him up in lead role in movies such as “Basti” and “Kahan Ho Tum” and also played a short character in movie “Baghban”. He has also worked in many TV serials like “Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin”, “Saaksshi” and currently acting as lead role in COLORS television serial “Parichay”. However he has recently married to famous Indian movie actress Neelam Kothari in 2011.
