Disha Wakani an Indian Television actress born and brought up in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. She appears in a famous Television Show Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah. Being Gujarati, she finds very comfortable working in serial as it is Gujarati based show and so is well comfortable with her co-stars too.
She is popularly known as Daya Gada because of her character in serial. In real life she is absolutely different from the role she is playing in the serial. She doesn’t like to work in kitchen whereas in her role she has to spend the half of her day in kitchen only. She is jollying good in nature and sporty too. She likes to take the challenging role immaterialize of whether it is film or a television show.

All my family members like this serial and never miss a single episode as we forget all our worries of the life.
There is a one curiosity which we would like to convey is that in the serial all the festivals are shown i.e. Holi, Gokulashtami, Ganeshutsav, Dashera, Mahashivratri, Dashera & Diwali but why not Eid is shown inspite of having a charecter by name “Abdul” ? In Goluldham families of various communities are there but any muslim family is shown?
We feel there is no space in your serial for our community. Infact I have forwarded this message to SAB Channel also but still there is no any respose that is why we are addressing this to you directly.
