Dilip Joshi is a well-renowned Indian Television and film actor. He has appeared in numerous comical television serials and movies in leading or supporting role. However he is also one of the famous actors in Gujarati theatre circuit and continuing acting successfully in many Gujarati plays one of which is Bapu Tamey Kamal Kari.
Currently, Dilip Joshi mainly appears as Jethalal Gada which is the lead character of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. However he is also awarded as Best Actor in comic role at 9th Indian Telly Awards for his flattering performance in Hindi TV serials such as Yeh Duniya hai Rangeen, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, etc. On other hand he has also starred in famous films like Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge and What’s Your Raashee? Though, in 2011 he is also awarded as Best Actor in comical role at Gold Awards.
