Bodyguard is a 2011 Bollywood romantic-action film directed by Siddique and well produced by Atul Agnihotri. Actually this film is third successful remake of 2010’s Malayam film with the same name, starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead role.

The entire story revolves around bodyguard Lovely Singh (Salman Khan) who takes Sartaj Rana (Raj Babbar) as his god as he thinks as if he doesn’t reach spot where his family meets an accident then he would have died. Meanwhile Lovely Singh bursts Ranjan Mahatre’s (Mahesh Manjrekar) human trafficking scam for Sartaj Rana. Fearing of revenge of evils Sartaj heir Lovely as bodyguard for his daughter named Divya (Kareena Kapoor).

However Lovely Singh’s devotion to his duty irritates Divya and her friend Maya. Divya plans to call Lovely via private mobile number to start a fake love affair with an idea that it should keep him away from him. On other side Lovely starts loving unknown phone call girl Chhaya who is actually Divya. In mean time lovely protects Divya from getting harm from Rajan Mahatre evil plans and schemes. However Divya also fall in love with Lovely and decide to confess her love to him. On other side she is also worried about unfolding her identity as Lovely has great devotion to her father although she doesn’t able to eliminate Lovely from her heart.

Moreover situations rises that makes Saratj Rana think that Lovely and Divya are in love with each other and soon they are going to flee away. He sent his men to assassinate Lovely in case if his loves turns for Divya but at last moment Divya convinces the girl that Lovely loves is waiting for him at railway station. Soon Divya approaches to Maya and tell him to reach Lovely at railway station and tell him the fact that Divya is actual Chhaya. But at time when Maya approaches Lovely to tell the truth Lovely hugs her as he thinks that she is actual Chhaya and by hugging Lovely Maya admits that she is Chayya and throws her mobile phone out of the train.

Moreover Maya takes away Lovely from Divya life erasing all memories from his heart but soon Maya dies due to severe ill health condition leaving the diary for her son in which she admitted the fraud that she has done with her best friend. Years later Lovely and his son visits Sartaj Rana’s mansion where Lovely’s son want Divya as his mother to fulfill Maya’s last wish and throws the diaries in trash in order to keep his mother truth unrevealed. But eventually diaries get hand over to Lovely Singh and he come to know that Divya is only actual Chhaya and movie end with an overwhelmed hug between Lovely and Divya and his son become happy by watching them.
