Amitabh Bachchan is an Indian film actor and one of the most prominent figures in the history of Indian cinema. He has won many awards in his career including four National Film Awards. Apart from acting in movies he has also worked as playback singer, film producer and as a TV Show host. He was also an elected member of the Indian Parliament from 1984 to 1987.
He was honored with an Honorary Doctorate by the Delhi University in New Delhi in 2006 at a special convocation held at the university. After the Honorary Doctorate degree he is also referred as Dr. Amitabh Bachchan. He is the first living Asian and Actor from bollywood to have been replicated in wax statue at Madame Tussauds museum at London. He also has strong relationship with other biggies like industrialist Anil Ambani and politician Amar Singh.
