Hema Malini is an Indian actress, director, producer and a Bharatanatyam dancer-choreographer. She has appeared in numerous bollywood movies. She was promoted with the tag “Dream Girl” and has done the movie of the same name. She has established herself as one of the leading actresses of Indian cinema, noted for her act in comic and dramatic roles and classical dancing.
Hema Malini is one of the most successful actresses in the history of Indian cinema. She has given large number of successful films, and her performances in both commercial and art cinema were often recognized. She was honoured with Padma Shri Award by the Government of India for her contributions towards Indian cinema.
